Darbari Chicken Korma Recipe – Chicken Dinner Recipes
Here, you can learn how to make darbari chicken korma at home. This darbari chicken korma recipe is very easy to make. You can make it whenever you want on your special days such as Eid, Ramzan, or on any other occasion. Following ingredients are required for this chicken korma recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
- Onion 1 large
- Chicken 1 kg
- Yogurt 1.5 cup
- Ginger garlic paste 1.5 tbsp.
- Almond ½ cup
- Cardamom powder ½ tbsp.
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. paprika powder
- ½ tbsp. turmeric powder
- Spices (Sabut garam masala)
- 2 tbsp. cream
METHOD FOR MAKING DARBARI CHICKEN KORMA:
- Take 1.5 cups of yogurt and add salt, paprika powder, turmeric powder, dried coriander powder, and spices in a bowl. Mix them all. Add 1 kg chicken to this bowl and mix it well. Let it marinate for 2 hours or overnight (you can marinate it for half an hour if have very little time to make it).
- Take 1 cup of cooking oil in a pan and fry one large onion till it gets light brown & set it aside.
- Add spices (sabut garam masala) in the same oil and fry for one minute & then add marinated chicken to the pan. Cook it on high flame until chicken tenders and water gets dry.
- Then add crushed almonds, cream (You can use heavy cream too which is present at your home), fried onion, cardamom powder, and cinnamon powder. Add some water and cover it with a lid. Cook for 10 minutes on low flame. It will create an amazing fragrance in your food.
- Add fresh coriander and green chilis, cover, and cook for 2 minutes on low flame. serve and enjoy the delicious, tasty, and amazing darbari chicken korma.
