You can make this murabba very easily using only 3 to 4 ingredients. Following are some ingredients for making Carrot murabba (gajar ka murabba)
Ingredients for Gajar ka Murabba Recipe
- Carrots (Gajar) 1kg
- Sugar (Cheeni) 1kg
- Cardamom (Elaichi) 5-8 pieces
- Citric acid (Tatri) or 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- Almonds (Badam) it is optional
- 4 Magaz (optional)
Recipe:
First of all, wash the carrots (gajar) and peel off their skin. Separate the white part of carrots; make some holes on carrots with the help of a fork. Cut them into small pieces and pour the sugar on carrots and cover them for 1 to 2 hours so that’s water released. After two hours turn on the flame and start to make Carrot Murabba (gajar ka murabba) on a medium flame until carrots are tender. Add some almonds, cardamom, and 4 magaz to it. Add a pinch of citric acid or lemon juice into it. Cool it at room temperature and gajar ka murabba is ready to serve.
NOTE: Citric acid or lemon juice makes its life so long. Always keep it in a sealed box. Do not use the wet spoon when you are getting it out of the box.
