Mutton Recipe – How to make Mutton Curry
Here, you can see the mutton recipe without using a pressure cooker. We are sharing a perfect mutton recipe in a mud pan. It is really very easy to make. In the start, we showed a video about this recipe, which is so amazing and the environment is so refreshing. The following ingredients should be available while making the mutton curry.
Ingredients to make Mutton Curry:
- Mutton 2 kg
- 1 cup of cooking oil
- Onion 2 Large size
- 2 tbsp. Ginger and Garlic Paste
- 3 to 4 Green Chili
- 3 Large Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp. Salt
- Chili powder, turmeric powder, dried coriander powder 1 tbsp. each
- Fresh Coriander
Direction:
Here, we are sharing the recipe in a mud pan and not using a pressure cooker.
- First of all, take a mud pan and add one cup of cooking oil(You can use any type of ghee or cooking oil).
- Add the onion into the pan which is finally chopped.
- Add some ginger and garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes. Then add finally chopped green chilis.
- Add the mutton into the material and cook until its oil gets separate. In the mean while add some hot spices ( salt, chili powder, dries coriander powder and turmeric powder ).
- When oil gets separate then, add some water into it. Cover and cook for 1 hour on a low flame, until mutton gets tender.
- After that, add some fresh coriander on the top and cover for 2 minutes, it will create an amazing fragrance and good flavor.
- Dish out the delicious and so tasty mutton curry in a mud bowl, garnish with fresh coriander and some chopped green chilis. Serve it with chapati and enjoy!
NOTE:
Without a pressure cooker, mutton takes 1 hour to cook on low flame. If you are cooking in the pressure cooker it will take 15 minutes after the whistle. Here we are using the mutton with bone pieces.
